The Garden City Co-op owns 18 grain elevators covering an area of approximately 200 miles, from Shields, Kansas on the north end to Ulysses, Kansas on the south end, with a total federally licensed storage capacity of 20,434,000 bushels. Grains handled are wheat, milo, corn, soybeans, white wheat, and sunflowers.
