  • Requirements
    • Must be at least 21 years of age
    • Have your own reliable source of transportation to and from the job site 
    • Be able to stand for long periods of time
    • Be able to do basic manual labor
    • Be able to read and understand hotspots
    • Be able to work in a team atmosphere
    • Be able to read, understand and comply with company safety policies
    • Basic computer skills preferred, but not required
    • This job can require occasional long hours, particularly during harvest times
    • Exposure to constant dust or airborne particles to be expected
    • Frequently exposed to heights requiring the use of a small confined elevator and/or ladders.
    • Exposure to outside weather conditions including rain, snow, ice, cold, heat and wind
  • Job duties
    • Responsible for the operation of the elevator, grain dryer and all related equipment
    • Assists with maintenance of the elevator, upkeep and housekeeping of elevator and buildings
    • Assists with monitoring the condition of all grain, regular monitoring of grain temperatures and inventory
    • Assists with and helps train harvest help
    • Assists with dumping and loading trucks at the elevator
    • Weighing trucks and sampling grain for moisture, weight and condition
    • Data entry
    • Other duties as assigned

* Requirements

- A clean driving record

- Have or be able to obtain a Class 1A Chemical Applicator's license

- Have or be able to obtain CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
- Prior experience with spray rigs strongly preferred
- Good understanding of chemicals and application rates and the ability to read
and follow label directions.
- Basic math in figuring out formula percentages, measurements and how much
of a certain product to apply to a certain area.
- Ability to operate and maintain a spray rig / semi safely and efficiently
Job duties
- Mixing chemicals
- Operating a semi and spray rig
- Maintenance of equipment-pickups to implements.
- Make deliveries of chemicals and fertilizers with pickup and trailer, tandem, or
- Fill and deliver anhydrous ammonia nurse trailers.
- Other duties as assigned
