🚜 GCC Introduces B.U.C.K.™ for Grain Cart Drivers 🌾

Apr 01, 2025

Garden City Co-op is making life easier for grain cart drivers this harvest with the launch of B.U.C.K.™ a voice-activated assistant that offers real-time guidance — and emotional support — during the most stressful part of the seasonBalanced Utility for Calming Khaos or B.U.C.K.™ is a utility designed to help level out those peak moments of stress for a calmer workforce.

“Grain cart drivers get a front-row seat to all the chaos,” said GCC Innovation Director, Otto Steerwell. “B.U.C.K.™ not only keeps them on track but helps them process the emotional trauma of getting yelled at… over and over again.”

To activate B.U.C.K.™, simply scream "BUCK!" at the top of your lungs—don’t worry, it’s designed to respond to stress!  No need for complicated voice commands—just let out that frustration, and B.U.C.K.™ has your back, helping to keep you relaxed while you work. If that doesn’t work, it’ll even suggest some helpful breathing exercises to guide you through the chaos as well as some light banter to help ease the mood.

Sample conversations include:
👨‍🌾 “Buck, how’s my alignment with the truck?
🗣️ “Close enough… but maybe don’t ask the combine driver for feedback.”
👨‍🌾 “Buck, did I just overshoot the truck and spill on the ground?
🗣️ “Shhhhh….nobody’s gonna know…”
👨‍🌾 “Buck, should I speed up?”
🗣️ “If you want to hear ‘SLOW DOWN!’ in 3 seconds, sure.”
👨‍🌾 “Buck, why am I even doing this?”
🗣️ “Because deep down, you love the smell of diesel in the morning and riding the thrill of almost spilling 1,000 bushels.”

A more seasoned grain cart driver near Dighton said, “Where the heck was this when I was growing up?  I might have been able to hold onto my blonde hair a little while longer!  These kids don’t know how good they’ve got it nowadays with all these fancy gadgets.  Where’s one that will make me breakfast?  Can I get me one of those?”

A grain cart driver near Holcomb said, “I asked B.U.C.K.™ how to handle the stress, and it suggested deep breathing… or maybe a different career.”

Happy April Fools!
