Trevor Witt Named Interim Vice President of Agronomy

GARDEN CITY, KS - The Garden City Co-op, Inc. is pleased to announce Trevor Witt as our interim Vice President of Agronomy.

We have had a recent change in our Agronomy Department.  Tim Giesick, Vice President of Agronomy, has taken another position outside of the company.  We want to thank Tim for his leadership and time here serving our members.

Trevor grew up working on the family farm in Ingalls, KS. He attended Kansas State University, graduating in 2008 with a Degree in Agronomy. Throughout college, he interned with Crop Quest and accepted a full-time job with them upon graduating and worked there from 2008 to 2011. Trevor then took a position with Syngenta as the Western Kansas Area Agronomist working there before coming to the Garden City Co-op as a Sales Manager in May 2013 at our Plymell location.

GCC realizes the importance of this position and would also like to take this time to thank Trevor Witt for fulfilling the role of Interim Vice President of Agronomy as we make plans for the permanent role.
