GCC Energy will soon transition to a new operating and billing system designed specifically for the fuel and energy industry. This change supports new technology and future service enhancements.

You will continue to receive detailed Energy invoices. While the invoice format may look slightly different, you can choose how you'd like to receive them—by mail or electronically through paperless billing.

Monthly statements will continue to include Energy charges. As part of the transition, Energy transactions will appear with new invoice numbering.

Receive a one-time $15 statement credit when you enroll in paperless Energy invoices. Credit will be applied to your account after your first Energy purchase following enrollment.

CONSUMPTION BILLING

Do you like the idea of never having to order a fuel load? Think of consumption billing as a subscription-based fuel delivery service where your tank is constantly monitored and you are only billed monthly for the fuel you use.

An electronic monitor is installed in your fuel tank. The monitor records the tank volume periodically and sends a signal to a controller.

When your tank’s level falls below a predetermined level, an order is automatically generated for a fuel delivery. Currently this program is designed for transport loads. On the 1st of every month, billing is done on the amount of fuel used.

DIESEL EXHAUST FLUID (DEF)

As you upgrade your equipment, the Garden City Co-op offers bulk and packaged DEF to meet new emission standards.

DEF or Diesel Exhaust Fluid is a non-hazardous solution of 32.5% urea and 67.5% de-ionized water that is sprayed into the exhaust stream of diesel vehicles to break down Nitrogen Oxides emitted through a process called Selective Catalytic Reduction or SCR.
