Next-Level Precision: Introducing See & Spray Technology to the GCC Fleet

By Trevor Witt, Vice President of Crop Production

At GCC, we are committed to staying on the cutting edge of agricultural technology to better serve our producers. We understand the importance of timely, accurate application to meet your needs, which is why we’ve added a game-changing new tool to our fleet: the John Deere See & Spray Ultimate sprayer.

This is no ordinary sprayer. Equipped with dual booms and dual tanks, the See & Spray Ultimate takes precision application to the next level. Here’s what makes it stand out:

  • Spot Spray with Precision: The See & Spray technology identifies and targets weeds growing in fallow fields, spraying only where it’s needed while avoiding bare soil. This can significantly reduce chemical usage, helping you save on input costs.
  • Simultaneous Residual Coverage: With its dual tanks and booms, this sprayer allows for spot spraying while simultaneously applying residual herbicide across the entire field. This helps prevent the next wave of weeds from emerging, giving you comprehensive protection in a single pass.
  • Green-on-Green Capability: This advanced technology isn’t limited to fallow applications. It can also spot spray weeds in growing crops, providing an additional layer of versatility to meet your unique needs.

This cutting-edge equipment will be based at our Lowe facility, serving customers in both Lowe and Plymell. If demand grows, we plan to integrate this technology into other sprayers as they are cycled out, making it accessible to more producers across our trade territory.

At GCC, we believe this tool has the potential to revolutionize the way we approach application, offering greater efficiency, savings, and precision for our producers.
