Chance Hill
CHS Certified Energy Specialist

With a strong background in agriculture, Chance plays a key role in supporting producers through tailored energy solutions at GCC. His deep understanding of Cenex® products allows him to advise members on how to protect their investments and keep equipment performing at its best.

Chance takes a hands-on, problem-solving approach, working closely with growers to understand their operation and build energy plans that are both efficient and sustainable. Whether it’s consulting on safety standards or helping producers stay ahead of seasonal needs, his priority is to offer guidance that’s rooted in real-world experience.

Beyond the co-op, Chance is fully immersed in rural life. He and his wife and kids stay active in school sports, 4-H, and horse projects, and you’ll often find him in the stands or in the barn, doing what he can to support his family’s passions. That firsthand connection to agriculture fuels the dedication he brings to his work every day.

Ella Roberts
GCC Assistant Grain Merchandiser

Welcome Ella Roberts to the GCC Grain Team! Ella started in June as an Assistant Grain Merchandiser in the Garden City Main Office. She grew up on a family farm in Lane County, and is enjoying the 360-degree view of the grain industry that she is learning in her new role merchandising grain. Ella graduated from K-State with a B.S. in Agricultural Economics, Minor in Animal Science, and Certificate in Feedlot Management and worked as an Agriculture and FACS teacher at Dighton High School before coming to GCC.

Ella is eager to help farmers create solid marketing strategies for their operations and is looking forward to continuing to build relationships with team members and customers. We are excited to have her on the team!

Outside of the office, Ella enjoys sports, sewing, baking, and being a leader for the Shields Jayhawks 4-H Club. She’s currently training for a 10-mile race in late July.
