Introducing the New Director of Grain Trading

Oct 05, 2026

We're excited to welcome Donny Huber to GCC as our new Director of Grain Trading. Donny joined the team in September, succeeding Lindy McMillen following her transition into the Grain VP role.

With years of experience in the agriculture industry, Donny brings extensive knowledge of grain merchandising, logistics, and customer service. He's a high-energy, outside-the-box thinker who is passionate about building strong relationships across the grain supply chain. Donny has assumed leadership of GCC's grain origination and merchandising team, and we're excited to have him on board to support our continued growth and success.

In addition to his work at GCC, Donny is an entrepreneur and owner of a few Scooter's Coffee locations. His dedication to customer service and business excellence shine both inside and outside the co-op.

A born and raised Garden City native, Donny and his wife, Lindsay, have four children and three granddaughters. When he's not at work, you'll likely find him spending time with family, enjoying the outdoors, attending sporting events, or staying active in the community.

Please join us in welcoming Donny to the GCC team. We look forward to the experience, energy, and leadership he brings to our customers and our organization.

Garden City Co-op encourages members and customers to understand not only what the federal order allows, but also what it does not resolve and how your state may respond as guidance continues to develop.
